This is a great recipe for getting in those all-important Omega 3 fatty acids. Did you know flax seed is 58% Omega 3 fatty acid by weight? Remember to store your flax seed oil in a dark bottle in the fridge or freezer as the fragile Omega 3 fats go rancid quite easily. This dressing is great for salads.
Note: Never use flax seed oil for cooking!
- 1/4 cup flax seed oil
- 1 1/2 T lemon juice
- 1 medium garlic clove crushed
- Pinch of rock or herb salt
Optional: Play with adding extra herbs, honey, apple cider vinegar or even pepper.
Place all into a shaker jar and shake or blend in your blender.
